Blasphemy Law: Blasphemy is about speech and actions about beliefs of God and religions. So Blasphemy law is a limitation on speech and expression about God and beliefs or a lack of respect towards holy civilians or religious artifacts. For example in +Pakistan people who were accused of blasphemy were sentenced to death. 62 people in a space of a year where assassinated before there trial finished.

Hate crime: Hate crime is any crime or harressment shown due to hatred towards their  race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or because they are transgender. So anyone who is being bullied assaulted or being called names due to one of them factors can report it as a hate crime towards the police. There’s many types of hate crime:

Race and religion hate crime: Race and religion hate crime is where someone would harass or attack someone because of there race or religion. For example many Muslims today are shown hatred and harassment as people assume there apart of the extremist of  Islamic state.

homophobic and transphobic hate crime: homophobic and transphobic hate crime is where someone is being harassed or attack because they are gay or transgender.

Disability hate crime: Disability hate crime is where anyone who suffers from a disability is being assaulted or harassed because they have a disability

elderly hate crime: the elderly hate crime is where someone is old is being assaulted or harassed because they are old.

Breach of confidence: Breach of confidence is the law where a professional is supposed to keep personal information of there client secret and just between themselves and there client. There is three types of information that comes under the breach of confidence are:

  • Trade secrets
  • Government secrets
  • personal information

For information to be created as confidential and in order to establish that a breach of confidence has occurred the following needs to be established:

  • The quality of the information
  • Whether there is an obligation of confidence
  • Whether there has been an unauthorised use of the information

Contempt of Court: contempt of court is where some one has disturbed a case in the court or broke a rule in the court. it can also be where someone has misbehaved in the court as well. For example as simple as someone recording the case or taking photos during the case can be classed as contempt of court

Copyright:  copyright is the law on weather someone is allowed to copy a original piece of work for there project. copyright doesn’t fully stop someone from using a original piece of work for there benefit but limits them on how much it distributes towards there work. For example apple was taken to court by samsung a samsung accused apple of copying there touch screen inventions but apples touch screen had enough differences to be found not guilty.

Data Protection: Data protection is where Data and personal, valuable information is protected and not illegally sold or given away to anyone who wants that information. For example Education locations like schools and colleges must keep key information safe and only use it for relevant reasons like the studying or the safety of the student.

Discrimination : discrimination is when a someone will be harmful or treat someone wrong  that is a different race, age or sex to them. Theres many types of discrimination.

Indirect discrimination: indirect discrimination is where a practice, policy or rule gives someone a disadvantage to others

Something can be indirect discrimination if it has a worse effect on you because of your:
